The 87th District spotlight features Oak Grove Farms. I had the pleasure of chatting with Dwayne Lebo whose grandfather started the farm in 1963. Since then, his parents have owned the farm, and now Dwayne and his brother own the farm. Pennsylvania is blessed to have multi-generational family farmers who grow food for our communities. Come out to Oak Grove Farms' market to support the Lebos!

During a budget hearing with the state Department of Housing, I had the opportunity to discuss obstacles to homeownership during this period of economic turbulence. We are facing a housing affordability crisis, and we must work together to find solutions for homebuyers, particularly Pennsylvania’s first-time homebuyers who are trying to plant roots in the Commonwealth.

2024-25 Budget Hearing with the Department of Corrections

During a budget hearing with the Department of Corrections, I had the opportunity to ask about funding for my initiative to authorize parole agents to wear body cameras. This will bolster transparency and community relations, and I am looking forward to learning more about the department's plan to implement the program as it continues to develop.
