HARRISBURG – Rep. Thomas Kutz (R-Cumberland) was appointed to serve as the Republican vice chair for the newly formed House Intergovernmental Affairs and Operations Committee. In this role, he will support the successful operation of the committee, while advocating for increased efficiency and transparency.

“It is a privilege to be appointed to serve as vice chair of the House Intergovernmental Affairs and Operations Committee for the 2025-26 session. I am pleased to have the opportunity to help advance key initiatives through this committee and to help build the work of this new committee for future sessions,” said Kutz.

“I look forward to advancing initiatives through the committee that support efficiency and transparency, while delivering on my commitment to making Pennsylvania a better place to live, work and raise a family.”

As one of the new committees established this legislative session, the legislation referred to the committee thus far covers a wide range of topics from prior sessions, including right-to-know, Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA), interstate agreements, federal relations and more.
