“Today’s grant awards are a major win for the residents of Cumberland County,” said Kutz. “These important projects will create family sustaining jobs, foster economic development and provide much-needed infrastructure improvements in our fast-growing community.”
The below amounts have been awarded to projects in the following municipalities:
•
$6.25 million, Upper Allen Township.
•
$1.5 million, South Middleton Township.
•
$800,000, Silver Spring Township.
•

RACP is a Commonwealth grant program administered by the Office of the Budget for the design, acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational and historical improvement projects.
Between last week’s announcement of $3.7 million in statewide Local Share Account grants (LSA), Public School Facility Improvement Grants (PSFIG), and today’s announcement, Kutz has delivered over $13 million in funding to improve communities in Cumberland County.
Questions about these grants can be directed to Kutz’s office at 717-975-2235.
