HARRISBURG – Rep. Thomas Kutz (R-Cumberland) is hosting a document shredding event for constituents of the 87th Legislative District. The event will be held on Saturday, Aug. 5, from 9 a.m. to noon, in the parking lot of Kutz’s Mechanicsburg office, located at 2 Market Plaza Way in Mechanicsburg.
“This is a great opportunity to safely dispose of paperwork containing private and personal information that could be used by fraudsters looking to obtain passwords, Social Security numbers and other sensitive information,” said Kutz.
“I am happy to be offering this free service again to our community and hope many people will come out to take advantage of it.”
This event is for residents only; no businesses please. There will be a limit of four boxes and/or bags per household. Please remove paperclips and binder clips prior to the event.
Questions about these events should be directed to 717-975-2235. RSVPs are not required. Shredding will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
